Day-Wise Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Leh & Local Sightseeing
Arrive at Leh Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport and meet our representative for a transfer to your hotel. Spend the day resting and acclimatizing to the high altitude, followed by welcome tea or coffee at the hotel. In the evening, visit the peaceful Shanti Stupa and explore Leh Market for a short shopping visit. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Leh.
Day 2: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass
After breakfast, drive towards Nubra Valley via the spectacular Khardung La Pass, renowned for its dramatic Himalayan views. Enjoy panoramic scenery of mountain ranges and deep valleys along the route. On arrival in Nubra Valley, check in to your camp or hotel in Hunder. Spend the evening exploring nearby villages and experiencing the unique local culture. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Day 3: Nubra Valley to Leh via Diskit Monastery
After breakfast, visit the sand dunes of Hunder, where you may enjoy an optional double-humped Bactrian camel ride at an additional cost. Continue to Diskit, the main town of Nubra Valley, and visit the famous Diskit Monastery, known for its hilltop location and panoramic valley views. Later, drive back to Leh via Khardung La Pass and check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Excursion to Pangong Lake
After an early breakfast, depart for the magnificent Pangong Lake via Chang La Pass. Enjoy the scenic mountain drive, passing through Sakti Village and Tangtse. Continue through the remote Changthang region until the spectacular blue waters of Pangong Lake come into view. Admire the lake’s striking colours and surrounding mountain scenery, and enjoy time for photography and relaxation. Overnight arrangements should be confirmed according to the selected package.
Day 5: Departure from Leh
After the tour, transfer to Leh Airport to board your flight to your onward destination. Depart with unforgettable memories of Ladakh’s dramatic landscapes, high mountain passes, peaceful monasteries, and stunning alpine lakes.
