Day-Wise Itinerary
Day 1: Bagdogra to Gangtok
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport, where our representative will welcome you and transfer you to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Enjoy a scenic drive through the beautiful Himalayan foothills. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 2: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir & Nathula Pass
After breakfast, embark on an excursion to the stunning Tsomgo Lake, situated at approximately 12,400 feet, followed by visits to Baba Mandir and Nathula Pass, subject to permit approval and weather conditions. Enjoy breathtaking mountain views and the region’s unique high-altitude scenery before returning to Gangtok for an overnight stay.
Note: Nathula Pass requires permits and may be restricted. If sightseeing locations are closed due to landslides or other circumstances, alternative sightseeing may be arranged.
Day 3: Gangtok at Leisure & Shopping
Enjoy breakfast and spend the day at leisure. Explore Gangtok’s local markets, browse traditional handicrafts, shop for souvenirs, or relax at your hotel. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 4: Gangtok to Kalimpong & Sightseeing
After breakfast, drive to Kalimpong, a charming hill destination known for its green landscapes, Himalayan views, and vibrant local markets. Explore attractions such as Deolo Hill, Hanuman Temple, Dr. Graham’s Homes, Durpin Monastery, Mangal Dham, and Pine View Nursery. Enjoy some free time to explore the local market before checking in for an overnight stay in Kalimpong.
Day 5: Kalimpong to Darjeeling via Scenic Attractions
After breakfast, depart for Darjeeling, popularly known as the Queen of the Hills. Enjoy scenic stops along the route, including Rimbi Waterfalls, Rock Garden, Kanchenjunga Falls, and other attractions as permitted by the route and schedule. On arrival in Darjeeling, check in to your hotel and spend the evening exploring Mall Road and Chowrasta. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 6: Darjeeling Sightseeing & Tiger Hill Sunrise
Begin early with a visit to Tiger Hill to witness the spectacular sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga, weather permitting. On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast, continue sightseeing at the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre, and a tea garden. Some attractions are closed on specific days. Enjoy the evening at leisure around Chowrasta before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 7: Departure from Bagdogra
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Bagdogra Airport for your return flight. Depart with wonderful memories of the Himalayas, scenic valleys, peaceful monasteries, and beautiful hill stations.
