Day-Wise Itinerary
Day 1: Chandigarh to Shimla – Arrival & Sightseeing
Arrive at Chandigarh Airport, where our representative will welcome you and transfer you to Shimla, approximately 105 km away. Check in to your hotel and relax. Later, proceed for sightseeing, including Wildflower Hall, Indira Holiday Home, and the Indian Institute of Advanced Study and Museum. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Shimla.
Day 2: Shimla – City Tour
After breakfast, explore Shimla’s popular attractions. Visit the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Sankat Mochan Temple, and Jakhu Temple. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely stroll along the famous Mall Road and The Ridge, known for their lively atmosphere, local shops, and mountain views. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Shimla.
Day 3: Shimla to Manali – Scenic Mountain Drive
After breakfast, depart for Manali, travelling approximately 285 km through the picturesque Kullu Valley. Enjoy views of lush valleys, mountain landscapes, and charming hill towns along the way. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Manali.
Day 4: Manali – Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Manali. Visit Hadimba Temple, Manu Temple, Vashisht Temple, and the Tibetan Monastery. In the evening, explore the popular Mall Road, where you can browse local shops and enjoy the town’s vibrant atmosphere. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Manali.
Day 5: Manali – Rohtang Pass & Solang Valley Excursion
Enjoy a full-day excursion to the beautiful mountain surroundings of Manali. Visit Kothi, Gulaba, Marhi, Rohtang Pass, and Solang Valley, subject to road conditions, permits, weather, and local regulations. Enjoy scenic views and optional adventure activities where available. Day 6: Manali to Dharamshala – Mountain Journey
After breakfast, drive to Dharamshala, approximately 280 km away. Enjoy the changing landscapes along the route before arriving and checking in to your hotel. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure, relaxing amid the peaceful Himalayan surroundings. Overnight stay in Dharamshala.
Day 7: Dharamshala to Vaishno Devi – Spiritual Journey
Proceed towards the Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrimage destination as per the confirmed transfer arrangements. Visit the sacred shrine and seek blessings. After completing the pilgrimage, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 8: Katra to Amritsar – Heritage & Patriotism
Proceed towards Amritsar, approximately 270 km away, and check in to your hotel on arrival. Visit the magnificent Golden Temple, one of Sikhism’s holiest sites, followed by Jallianwala Bagh, a significant landmark in India’s freedom struggle. In the evening, experience the patriotic ceremony at the Indo-Pak Wagah Border, subject to timings and access. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Amritsar.
Day 9: Amritsar to Delhi – Departure
Depart early for Delhi, approximately 475 km away. Kurukshetra may be visited en route if time permits and arrangements allow. On arrival in Delhi, board your onward train or flight, concluding your memorable Himachal and Vaishno Devi tour.
