Day-Wise Itinerary
Day 1: Jammu to Katra – Arrival
Arrive at Jammu Airport, where our representative will welcome you and transfer you by cab to Katra, the base town for the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage. Check in to your hotel and relax after the journey. Spend the evening at leisure before your overnight stay in Katra.
Day 2: Katra – Vaishno Devi Darshan
Begin early for your pilgrimage to the sacred Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Temple, one of the most revered Hindu shrines dedicated to Goddess Shakti. After completing darshan, return to Katra. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Katra to Jammu to Srinagar – Local Sightseeing
Transfer from Katra to Jammu as per your travel arrangements and board your flight to Srinagar. On arrival, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. Explore Srinagar’s beautiful Mughal gardens, including Shalimar Bagh and Chashme Shahi. Enjoy a memorable Shikara ride on the famous Dal Lake and visit Pari Mahal. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 4: Srinagar to Pahalgam – Valley Excursion
After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam through the scenic countryside, passing Pampore, Avantipura, and Bijbehara. Continue via Anantnag, enjoying views of the Lidder River and surrounding mountains. Spend time exploring Pahalgam and enjoying its peaceful natural setting. Return to Srinagar in the afternoon as per the itinerary for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Srinagar to Sonamarg – Scenic Mountain Escape
After breakfast, proceed to Sonamarg, travelling through the beautiful towns and landscapes of Kangan, Mammar, and Gagangir. On arrival, enjoy the spectacular mountain scenery. You may opt for a walk or horseback excursion towards Thajiwas Glacier, subject to weather, access, and local regulations. Explore the local market before returning to Srinagar for an overnight stay.
Day 6: Srinagar to Gulmarg – Meadows & Gondola Experience
After breakfast, drive towards Gulmarg via Tangmarg, enjoying scenic views along the route. Explore Gulmarg’s famous meadows and mountain landscapes. You may opt for a Gondola cable-car ride and horse riding at additional cost, subject to availability and operating conditions. Return to Srinagar in the evening for an overnight stay.
Day 7: Srinagar – Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Srinagar Airport for your return flight, taking home wonderful memories of Kashmir’s scenic valleys and your spiritual journey to Vaishno Devi.
